Meet Aamie
Photographer, beach lover, mum and the face behind My Salty Life
Hi I’m Aamie
I’m a Sunshine Coast photographer, mum of two and someone
who feels most at home with sand between my toes and salt in my hair.
The ocean has always been my happy place. Whether I’m watching the sunrise before work, photographing families along the shoreline, or creating ocean artwork inspired by the sea, it’s where I feel most myself.
What began as a love of photography has grown into My Salty Life - a business built around capturing genuine connection, beautiful light and the moments that matter most.
The Story Behind My Salty Life
For as long as I can remember, i’ve been drawn to the ocean.
There is something special about the calm it brings, the way it slows you down
and reminds you to be present.
My Salty Life was created from a desire to capture that feeling -
the laughter between family members, children playing in the waves, quiet
moments between couples and the beauty that exists in everyday life.
These are the memories that become priceless as the years pass.
Why Family Photography Matters to Me?
As a mum myself, I know just how quickly children grow and seasons of life change.
The photographs we treasure most aren’t usually the perfectly posed ones.
They’re the moments that remind us how it felt.
The way your child held your hand.
The way everyone laughed together.
The way the ocean looked on a perfect afternoon.
My goal is to capture those moments naturally so that years from now,
you can remember not just what life looked like but how it felt.
RELAXED
No awkward posing
or forced smiles. Just genuine
moments and natural connection.
